电力供应必须满足经济发展对电力的需求。电力供应短缺将会制约经济的发展;电力供应能力过剩将会降低电力企业的生产效率。任何电力供需的不平衡度将影响国民经济的发展及电力行业的效率。提出电力供需指数的概念并给出定量评判全国电力盈亏的计算方法,对我国历年电力供需盈余给予了评判,对今后电力供需形势给予了分析。

Electricity is an important kind of resource for human living and economic development. Power supply must meet the demand. Any power shortage will be a barrier of economic growth. However, the surplus of power generation capacity will lower the power system efficiency. How to evaluate the balance of power supply and demand is very important. There is still no such index to do that. The power supply and demand index was studied to measure the balance of power supply and demand, and to give the calculation method for nationwide evaluation of the index.
