The article introduces the characteristics and the main problems of the water ecological system in Wuhan City, analyzes the reasons arising the problems, sets forth the status of the water ecological system in the urban construction of Wuhan City and the strategic thinking of the water ecological urban construction in Wuhan City, and introduces the works and practices of the water ecological construction of Wuhan City in recent years.
