燕京大学新闻学系人才培养目标及改革实践

Education targets and reform of Journalism Department of Yanjing University

燕京大学新闻学系为中国新闻事业的发展做出了重要贡献。自1924年燕大新闻学系创设以后,为适应新的社会形势和学系自身发展的需求,其人才培养目标经历了从“德才兼备的新闻从业人员”到“有创见及改革能力的领袖人才”的转变,在课程设置方面也作了相应调整和改革,促进了人才培养模式与目标的统一,也推动了专业教育和通识教育的协调发展。

As the main journalism education institution in the 20th century, Journalism Department of Yanjing University contributed much to journalism of China. Founded in 1924, the education targets of the department shifted from cultivating journalists with professional abilities and high morality to bringing up creative and innovative leaders of the field. Meanwhile, the curriculum was adjusting to fulfill the targets. It＇s beneficial for us to accelerate the combination of talent cultivation patterns and objectives and promote the harmonious development of professional education and general education.
