Through comprehensive research and comparison of schemes and on the basis of the actual anti-corrosive situation of an enterprise" s main pipes buried in land, necessity to implement the sacrificial anode protection and the cathodic protection for the main pipes was expounded. The economic benefit and social benefit after implementation of the scheme were presented.
