摘要
本文利用折射率椭球和点电荷模型研究了MSLM中偏z轴斛切LiNbO_3晶体的介电,电光传递过程。导出了在纵向,横向电场同时存在时电光效应的表达式及调制区的电荷——电压传递函数解析式。讨论了横向电场和器件结构参数对输出的影响及优化设计问题。指出偏z轴30°~60°切割晶体都可得到较好结果。
The electro-optic modulation transfer process of oblique-cut LiNbO3 crystal used in the Microchannal Spatial Light Modulator(MSLM) has been studied in detail by utilizing the index ellipsoid and single point-charge model The electro optic effects in he simullaneous presence of longitudinal and transverse fields are analyzed and the analytic expression of charge voltage transfer function shown dependent on devke construction parameters is derived The implications of these results for device optimum design are discussed and it is also pointed out that ZYw (+30°- + 60°)cut LiNbO3 wafers are all suited for fabricating MSLM and smaller cut angle can get better spatial-frequency characteristics.
