Morality in Political Study and the Researcher's Moral Duty

在政治学研究活动中,研究的动机、课题的设计规划、与研究对象的关系以及资料的运用和成果的处理等方面都具有道德性。虽然不同的伦理学派对研究者是否要对研究中出现的不道德现象承担道德责任存在争议,但是从政治学研究的性质上来衡量,研究者必须尽量避免不当行为,必须履行研究的道德义务。

There are ethical problems in all aspects of the political study, such as the motivation of study, the design of the research proposal, the relationship between the researcher and the research object, the application of the data and the dispose of the research result, etc. There are different opinions about whether the researcher should be responsible for the immoral phenomena in the study according different schools of the ethics, but from the essence of the political study, the researcher should try his best to avoid the immoral behaviors and fulfill the moral duty.
