晚清的农业公司及其对近代化农业科技的实践

The Agricultural Companies and Their Appliance of Modern Agricultural Science &Technology in the Late Qing Dynasty

中国民族资本主义工商业从1904年开始恢复发展,刺激了中国资本主义农业的发展。在有条件的地方,各类与农业有关的公司应运而生,主要有灌溉公司、垦植公司、肥料公司、渔业公司,以及机械缫丝、机械加工茶叶、机械加工面粉等企业。这些公司和企业在中国农业中所占比例不大,经营管理方面也不成熟,无法从根本上改变中国农业的面貌。但是,它们与一家一户的小农生产模式相比,更有条件采用引进的西方近代化农业技术,因而为西方近代化农业技术在中国的推广与实践作出了一定的贡献。

In the late Qing dynasty, Chinese capitalist industry began to recover and develop, which gave rise to the capitalist agriculture of China. Agricultural companies appeared, including the companies for irrigation, for farming, for fertilizer, for fishery and for the processing of agricultural products. Although the number of the companies was small compared with the small traditional family farms and could not give great effect to the whole Chinese agriculture, they were able to put some of the western modem agricultural technology into practice. So such agricultural companies did well to the spread and practice of modem agricultural science and technology in the late Qing Dynasty in china.
