文化语境视阈下的译者主体性研究

On the Translator's Subjectivity from the Perspective of Cultural Context

随着20世纪70年代西方翻译界出现的“文化转向”思潮,翻译这一术语得以重新改写与界定。将译者主体性置于文化语境视阈下,分析文化语境与译者主体性之间的互动关系。译者从文本的择取到文本的理解都或多或少打上了时代的烙印,从翻译动机到翻译成品的推出也在一定程度上受到当下时代文化语境的影响和操纵。因此,只有当译者在认同主流文化趋向的前提下,译者的主体性才能得以充分显彰。

With the emergence of ＂cultural turn＂ in the west translation studies in the 1970＇ s, the terminology of translation got rewritten and refined. From the perspective of cross-culture, the relationship between the cultural context and the subjectivity of the translator was explored. The selection of texts and the interpretation of them are limited by the times＇ cultural context. So do the initiative translation motive and the production of the translated text, which are more or less influenced and controlled by the current cultural context. Accordingly, the translator＇ s subjectivity can get a full play only if he agrees with current mainstream culture of his day.
