自F.Bartlett 1932年提出图式理论(schema theory)以来,不少学者继续对这一理论,特别是这一理论与阅读理解的关系进行了研究,引起了学术界的广泛关注。但在如何将图式理论应用于外语词汇习得方面,研究仍极鲜见。探讨运用该理论解决词汇习得猜测策略失效的方法是本文的要旨。

Since the introduction of the schema theory in 1932 by F. Bartlett, fruitful researches have been carried out by a number of scholars, focusing, in particular, on the application of the theory to reading comprehension. How to apply the theory to improve accuracy of guess strategy in lexical acquisition is the focus here.
