The German machine tool in dustry has gotten off to a flying start for the year 2007.In fact, the opening months have been good enough to cause VDW, the German Machine Tool Builders＇ Association, to revise its production forecast for the year. The association has marked it up to a growth figure of 10%. At the beginning of the year, the anticipated growth rate foe the branch had been only 7%.
