Poetry Translation Should Be Done Poetically

诗歌翻译没有定法。诗所以为诗不在其诗“形”,而在其诗学价值。从诗的本质出发探讨诗歌翻译的深层矛盾,并在此基础上论证黄杲火斤先生提出的“三兼顾”译诗法理论上缺乏根据,实践上难以令人信服。

There is no ready model for all poetry translation. It is not poetic form that makes a poem but poetic nature. This paper probes into the basic problems of poetry translation from the perspective of the nature of poetry. The author also tries to expound and verify that Huang Gaoxin＇ s emulation method in poetry translation lacks adequate theoretical foundation and is far from satisfactory in practice.
