东亚区域经济合作进程及其对两岸关系的影响

The Procession of East Asian Regional Economic Cooperation and Its Effect on the Intercoastal Relationship

经济全球化和区域经济一体化是当今世界经济发展的两大主要趋势。东亚虽然在区域经济一体化的发展中起步较晚，但进展很快，在较短时间内已取得了显著成绩，继“东盟＋1”、“东盟＋3”后，2005年又召开了首届东亚峰会。东亚区域经济合作的发展，将促使祖国大陆和台湾省的经济进一步密切与整合，这对两岸关系具有重要意义。

After elaborating the reasons,characters and process of East Asian economic cooperation,this article analyzes the influence of East Asian economic cooperation,especially China-ASEAN Free Trade Area on the relations cross the straits,and points out that the development of economic and trade relations between China mainland and ASEAN provides the opportunity for the further development of Taiwan economy,and Taiwan can play two roles：the intermediary-- helping the companies of China mainland to do business in East Asia,and the gateway-- Southeast Asia coming in and out China mainland＇s market,which is helpful to Taiwan integration into the process of East Asian economic cooperation.
