Binhai New Area and the Rising of Jingjinji Metropolitan Area

继珠三角、长三角之后京津冀都市圈正凸现出其带动北方地区经济发展的地位。这一地区集聚的优质资源和巨大发展潜能给人以热望和期待,要使这种潜能充分释放还需一个“引爆点”和“增长极”。时代赋予天津滨海新区这一使命。滨海新区的开发开放及对区域经济的带动不可能一蹴而就,它有一个依次递进和逐步释放的过程。构建内生性创新体系、整合区域资源、引领中国经济发展是滨海新区与京津冀都市圈崛起的关键。

After the Zhujiang delta and the Yangtse delta having driven the economic growth of southern China, Jingjinji metropolitan area is showing its leading position of promoting the economic development of northern China. This area has the high quality resource and great development potencies, which gives people the eagerness for the prosperous future in China. To sufficiently exploit the potencies of this area, it is necessary to find out a ＂tipping point＂ or ＂growth pole＂. Binhai New Area is entrusted this important task. The openness of Binhai New Area will not have the immediate effect for driving the regional economic growth. The whole procedure should be carried on progressively. Constructing the endogenous innovation system, integrating regional resources, leading China＇s economic development are the keys for the rising of Jingiinji metropolitan area and Binhai New Area.
