Pragmatic Failure from the Perspective of Negative Pragmatic Transfer

负语用迁移引起的语用失误是跨文化交际失误的重要原因。语用失误可以分为语用语言失误和社交语用失误两个方面,减少或避免语用失误有助于外语学习和跨文化交际。

Pragmatic failure is the main reason of intercultural miscommunication. Based on pragmalinguistic failure and sociopragmatic failure, this paper explores the negative influence on foreign language learning and cross-cultural communication caused by negative pragmatic transfer. In addition, some implications for foreign language learning are given.
