Beta Spline Fitting for Curves and Surfaces Design

介绍了一种新的曲线曲面设计方法——三次Ｂｅｔａ样条拟合，分析了形状控制参数β１，β２对曲线形状的影响．与具有Ｃ２连续条件的三次Ｂ样条相比较，它提供了一种更加灵活。

A new approach for generating curves and surfaces,i.e., cubic Beta spline fitting,is introduced.Also analysed is the influence of shape parameters β 1 and β 2 to the shape.In comparison with C 2 cubic B spline,the cubic Beta spline is more flexible,more practicable in designing of curves and surfaces.
