On Talents Training Goal Positioning and New Approach to "Practical" Talents Training in Independent College

独立学院是我国近几年来兴起的一种全新的高等教育办学形式,是中国特色的按成本收费的以民营机制运作的民办院校,它不仅是高校本科招生规模量上的增加,而且是人才培养类型上质的补充,其人才培养目标的科学定位决定着它的可持续发展和健康成长。从高等教育的分类依据和对人才培养的规定性,从经济建设、社会发展对人才的要求以及独立学院的生源特点等方面提出了独立学院“应用型”人才培养目标定位,就“应用型”人才培养模式从专业设置、课程体系、实践教学、教学方法诸方面进行探究。

Independent college is a new school-running form of higher education, which has risen since the latest years. It is a privately run non-government school which represents Chinese characteristics and charges according to the cost. It is nor only the quantitative addition in the enrolling scale of four-year programme of universities, bur also the qualitative complement of the talents training type. Its scientific talents training goal positioning decides its sustainable development and healthy growth. The paper puts forward the ＂ practical ＂ talents training goal positioning, from such aspects as higher education sorting basis , talents training regulation , economic construction, social development＇requirements, and the source of students in independent college. It also explores the ＂ practical ＂ talents training pattern from the aspects such as majors setting , course system, practical teaching and teaching methods.
