On the function of public relations in constructing harmonious society

从公共关系与和谐社会构建的关系出发,运用比较研究的方法,通过对公共关系与和谐社会构建的相同点进行分析,阐述了公共关系在和谐社会构建中的作用。研究认为,公共关系与构建和谐社会具有一致的价值取向和行为主体。公共关系以其丰富的理念为构建和谐社会服务,以其具有的传播信息、沟通理解、协调关系、化解矛盾和危机的功能而成为构建和谐社会的重要途径和手段。

From the relationship between the public relations and the construction of harmonious society, this paper discusses the role of public relations played in constructing the harmonious society through analyzing theirs sameness in comparative way. It indicates that they have the same value orientation and subject of conduct. The abundant notion of public relations provide service for constructing harmonious society. Public relations will be the important approach to constructing harmonious society for its functions of spreading information, communicating understanding, harmonizing relations, solving the conflicts and crisis.
