爱国主义之所以能够在各个国家、各种制度下得到弘扬和重视,就是因为它具有增强民族凝聚力等多种功能。爱国主义教育可以通过增强人们的爱国情感以及提高人们的理性的爱国主义思想认识来达到增强民族凝聚力的目的。

The reason why patriotism can be granted and emphasized under each nation, each system is just because it has the function of enhancing national cohesion and many other kinds of functions. The patriotic education can achieve the goal of enhancing national cohesion through strengthening people＇s patriotic emotion as well as enhancing people＇s ideological recognition of rational patriotism.
