Concern of New-Born Generation in Tang Shi's Poetics

唐湜在20世纪40年代就提出了“新生代”概念,并对其进行了学术总结。他所谓的“新生代”主要是指以九叶派诗人为代表的年轻诗人群。唐湜对他们大多数人的作品进行了评介,提出了自己独特的看法,而且由此产生了“合流”诗的艺术主张。他的研究对于九叶诗派的最终形成起到了不可忽略的重要作用。

In the 1940s Tang Shi brings up the term of ＂new-born generation＂ and summaries their works academically. This term he employs mainly refers to the young poets represented by the jiu ye （nine-leaves） school. Tang comments on the works of most of them and offers his original views, which results in his proposal of ＂he liu＂ （confluent） poetry. His study plays an important role in the formation of jiu ye school.
