Enhancement of Constitution Implementation and Improvement of Social Harmony

民主法治是构建社会主义和谐社会的目标、任务和重要特征,又是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要政治和制度保障。和谐社会的构建呼唤宪法权威,宪法是构建和谐社会的法律基础,是有效控制社会冲突和化解社会矛盾的根本手段。认真总结宪政历史经验,确保宪法有效实施,推动社会主义和谐社会建设,是我们当前工作的一个重要思路和任务。

Democratic rule of law is the goal, task and important feature as well as important political, systematical guarantee of socialist harmonious society construction, which calls for constitutional authority and takes constitution as its legal basis. Constitution is the underlying means of effective control of social conflict and dissolution of social contradiction. It is an important mentality and task of our present work to summarize the constitutional historical experience, ensure efficient implementation of constitution and promote construction of socialist harmonious society.
