摘要 人耳识别是生物识别领域的一项新技术,由于其令人欣喜的特性,如普遍性、唯一性和稳定性等,已经受到了越来越多研究者的关注。但在3D人耳识别方面,各种理论和方法都不太完善、还处于初步阶段。文中首先介绍一般的人耳识别过程,然后从2D过渡到3D人耳识别,着重介绍一下现在3D人耳识别领域的一些技术。 Ear Recognition is a viable new class of biometrics since the ear has desirable properties such as universality, uniqueness and permanence. It has been attached importance by more and more researchers. While in fields of 3D Ear Recognition, mature theory has not been founded and all methods are at a groping stage. In this paper, we first introduce structure of a typical Ear Recognition system. After that, a simple review of the leading works in 2D Ear Recognition including those which appears in the research world very lately is given. Then we will pay much attention to the introduction of the present research works in 3D Ear Recognition. In the end, a proposal for possible future research directions is discussed.
