The installing construction of slab track （ballasfless） bed on long and large bridges is a key process. The transport organization of track slabs and construction materials are priorities of construction. In this article, an economic and construction- time comparison is made between temporary track method, temporaft road method and traveling gantry crane method by which the slab track is laid on the bridge, which shows that the traveling gantry crane method is a better method for the installation of slab track on bridge. The article also performs a detailed introduction to the technological process of this method.
