Design and Production Practice of Xibei Lead and Zinc Smelter’s Sulphuric Acid Plant

西北铅锌冶炼厂２００ｋｔ／ａ硫酸装置是我国第一套完全自行设计、利用本国技术建设的大型两转两吸冶炼烟气制酸系统。设计采用了多项新技术，如绝热蒸发净化，并流洗涤塔，上进气电除雾器，碟形底球拱干吸塔，无支柱和隔板、大蓄热量拱形转化器等。还对某些问题进行了有益的探索，如高温吸收、低位热能利用、烟气除汞等。实践证明这个设计基本是成功的。对某些不足之处提出了相应改进措施。

Abstract XLZS’s 200kt/a H 2SO 4 plant is the first large-scale DC/DA smelter acid plant designed and fabricated fully with domestic technique.The design adopted a lot of advanced technique like adiabatic vapourization cleaning,co current scrubbing tower,upper inlet wet electrostatic precipitator,drying and absorption towers with dish bottom and dome support,and no post and division convertor with a large heat reserving capacity.A beneficial approach was carried out to some technique such as high temperature absorption,low level heat utilization and mercury removal from smelter gas.The production practice proved the design successful in the main.Appropriate measures are proposed for some shortcomings.
