摘要
骨形态发生蛋白-2作为转化生长因子-β细胞因子超家族中的一员,在血管发育及血管病理生理过程(包括很可能参与冠状动脉粥样硬化发展的内皮的活化)中起重要作用,尽管其在骨化中研究得比较透彻,但其在血管钙化中作用比较复杂,研究也比较少,现就其目前的研究和进展做一综述。
Recent studies suggest that bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2 ), a transforming growth factor-β superfamily member cytokine, plays an important role both in vascular development and pathophysiological processes ,including endothelial activation that is likely to contribute to the development of coronary atherosclerosis. Although the roles of the BMPs in osteogenesis are well documented, their roles in vascular calcification are more complex and less defined. This article will review recent progress in the role of BMP-2 in vascular calcification.
