As one of the major western artists of the 20th century, Balthus created a hidden world like a poetry which is independent from the Westerners. He took the facts of Chinese painting expression and philosophy into his works. It was a successful example that he explored and practiced to blend national art and the Western painting, and so that we have a new way and attitude to face our ethical culture and the foreign culture. His works will still inspires us currently to produce paintings.
