摘要
为了降低视频编码标准H.264中运动搜索的复杂度,提出了一种新的基于全零块检测的运动搜索提前中止算法。根据整数离散余弦变换(DCT)和量化的特点,该算法给出了自适应的检测门限和提前中止条件。通过检测门限与绝对差和(SAD)的比较来判断是否停止运动搜索。实验结果表明,在图像质量基本不变的情况下,此方法可以有效减少运动搜索的计算量。
In order to reduce the complexity of motion search in video coding standard H. 264, a new early termination algorithm by detecting all - zero blocks is proposed in this paper. According to the characteristics of integer discrete cosine transform (DCT) and quantization, the proposed algorithm presents the adaptive detection threshold and early termination condition. By comparing the threshold with the sum of the absolute differences ( SAD), it can adjust whether to ski Pthe motion search. The simulations show that significant complexity reduction of motion search is achieved while the degradation in video quality is negligible.
