On New Model of English Teaching and Its Constructivist Strategies

建构主义认为,学习是学习者自己主动建构知识意义的过程,外语教学应充分发挥学习者的主体作用,采用任务型教学,提倡学生之间合作学习,创设目的语境,帮助学生建构当前所学知识的意义。

Based on the theory of Constructivism, the paper illustrates that learning is an active process of learners＇ mental construction, and thus foreign language teaching should bring the initiative of the learners into full play. And it makes the focal elaboration of the constructivist apporoaches of new teaching model.
