China＇s Modernization Report 2007 was released at a workshop held on 27 January in Beijing. Chaired by Prof. GUO Chuanjie, member of the CPC Leading Group at CAS, the meeting was attended by high-ranking officials and prestigious scholars including CAS President LU Yongxiang and CAS Vice President LI Jiayang.
