摘要
曾获诺贝尔文学奖的英国剧作家塞缪尔.贝克特的成名作《等待戈多》是后现代主义流派荒诞派戏剧的经典作品。运用结构主义文学批评的方法从反情节、反人物、反语言、反时间、反场景、反悲喜剧等方面透析了《等待戈多》文本中“反戏剧”的艺术创作特色,揭示了这一全新的表现形式所反映的社会心理现实、文艺思想的影响和贝克特的存在主义哲学,并运用接受美学与读者反应理论阐述了作品能够给予读者的警示和净化作用,以弥补结构主义文学批评的不足,从而全面透彻地理解作品的主题和艺术价值。
Waiting for Godot by the English playwright Samuel Beckett who once won the Nobel Prize in literature is the classical work of the Theatre of the Absurd, a post-modernist literary school. From the perspective of the structuralist literary criticism, this paper thoroughly analyzes the "anti-drama" artistic writing feature in the text of Waiting for Godot in terms of anti-plot, anti-character, anti-language, anti-time, anti-place and anti-tragicomedy, expounds the social psychological reality, the influence of modem literary and artistic thoughts and Beckett~ exis- tentialist philosophy presented by the "anti-drama" writing feature, and discloses the warning and purifying role of the work to readers from the perspective of the aesthetic of reception and the reader-response criticism so as to compensate for the defects of the structuralist literary criticism and gain a thorough understanding of the thematic and artistic values of the work.
