Jiangyin has been creating one after another miracle in its economic development. Nowadays, when economic development becomes the most important issue in the world, Jiangyin phenomenon turns into a focus which attracts the attention of the whole society. In view of the actual economic development in Jiangyin, the paper analyzes the great effect of Jiangyin phenomenon on the underdeveloped areas in the northern Jiangsu Province in spite of existing difficulties.
