摘要
翻译并不是纯粹的语言转变。由于中英文化差异,作为译者,既要熟练掌握两种语言,更要熟知两国文化。本文通过比较中英文中动物词的含义分析了中英文化差异,并对相应的翻译策略提出了一些看法。
Translation is not merely a transformation from one language to another. Due to the difference in Chinese and English culture, a qualified translator should familiarize himself with the culture as well as the languages. This article aims to compare the different meanings of animal words in Chinese and English, and to give opinions on the relative translation strategy.
