Reasons on Strengthening the Historical Humanities Education in Vocational Colleges

高职大学生的人文素质状况令人担忧,必须加大力度切实有效地开展人文素质教育工作,历史教学是培养大学生人文素质的重要阵地。必须对传统历史教学进行深入改革,以充分发挥历史教育在人文素质培养中的重大作用。

Nowadays, the humanities quality and knowledge of high vocational college students caused much concern. Great importance should be attached to the education of the students＇ quality in humanity which should be handled practically and effectively. The teaching of history is therefore considered the vital basement in the fostering of students＇ quality in humanities. Hence the traditional way of history teaching should be reformed to be expected to play important roles in the fostering of students＇ quality in humanities.
