Guiding Principles for the Development of Chinese Chemical Fiber Industry during the 11^(th) “Five-year Plan” Period (Part 1)

我国是世界最大的化纤生产国,作为纺织工业的重要组成部分,化学纤维已占纺织纤维加工总量的近2/3,化纤工业的发展直接影响到我国纺织工业发展的整体水平和竞争能力。日前,国家发改委发布了《化纤工业“十一五”发展指导意见》,分析了我国化纤工业的发展情况、主要问题和产业发展趋势,确立了“十一五”期间化纤工业发展由“数量型”向“技术效益型”战略转变的指导思想,明确了化纤工业的发展目标和发展重点。

China is the largest chemical fiber producer in the world. The chemical fiber industry plays important part in the textile industry, as it offers nearly 2/3 of the textile fibers consumed by the textile industry. Therefore, the development of chemical fiber industry has direct influence on the overall development and competence of the textile industry. The ＂Guiding Principles for the Development of the Chemical Fiber Industry in the 11^th Five-year Plan Period （2006-2010） recently released by the National Development and Reform Commission analyzed the current development status, existing problems and developing trend of the chemical fiber industry, established the guideline of changing the development mode from ＂quantity-based＂ to ＂technology- and benefit-based＂, and set targets and tasks for the industry in the next five years.
