随着测试理论和现代计算机技术以及网络技术的飞速发展,计算机化的测试(尤其是基于网络的测试)的应用愈来愈广泛。这种形式的测试不仅可以节省人物、物力,而且可以使测试更为科学、更为有效。本文即介绍一种以项目反应理论(Item Response Theory)为其核心的基于网络的外语自适应性考试系统(Web-based Foreign languages Computer Adaptive Testing)并在分析其必要性、历史回顾、理论基础之后构建该系统的框架。

With the rapid development of testing theory and modern computer and network technology, the computer-based, especially the webbased computer test, is becoming increasingly popular. This testing form will not only spare a lot of man power and material resources hut make test more scientific and efficient, This paper deals with the web-based computer foreign languages adaptive testing built on the item response theory. After taking a look at the necessity and history of this system, we propose a trial framework.
