摘要
口译是指用口头表达方式将原语信息转换为译语信息的一种即席翻译活动.口译活动的即席性决定了译员必须在较短的时间内完成解码、编码的全过程.在口译的过程中,译员常会遇到因为生词而一时无法准确翻译继而影响整个翻译的情况,文章探讨了交际策略在英汉口译中生词翻译的运用,分析了基于交际策略的口译词汇翻译卡壳时的应急策略.
Interpretation is an impromptu oral activity in which information is transformed from a source language into a target language. The nature of interpretation requires an interpreter to complete the decoding and encoding processes in a fairly short time. During interpretation, the interpreter often encounter such difficulties ： they fall into a paralytic situation because of their failure in interpreting the new words. This paper analyzes the application of communication strategies in the interpretation of new words and explores some strategies to deal with the problems caused by the failure to interpret the new words.
