浅谈英语词汇的教与学

Some Thoughts on English Vocabulary Teaching and Learning

词汇是构成语言的基础。学习一门语言,对词汇的学习是不可或缺的,英语学习也不例外。英语词汇学习贯穿与英语语言学习的整个过程之中,从学习者开始学习英语的那一刻就开始了词汇学习,而在学习者掌握了大量的英语语法规则和语言运用能力之后也不意味着词汇学习的终止。因此,不论是小学、中学还是大学的英语教学都不能轻视对词汇的教学。文中,作者从教师的"教"和学生的"学"两方面阐述了其对英语词汇教学的一些观点,以期对教、学双方有所启示。

Vocabulary is the foundation of a language. Vocabulary learning is essential for learning any language. And English is no exception. English vocabulary learning goes throughout the long run English learning. English learners begin their vocabulary learning as soon as they start to learn the language, and a great command of grammatical rules and language application ability do not mean an end to their vocabulary learning. Therefore, we should pay enough attention to vocabulary teaching no matter in primary schools, middle schools, or colleges and universities. In this essay, the author put forward some suggestions on teachers＇ vocabulary teaching and students＇ vocabulary learning.
