An Investigation of Employment Intentions of Graduates from Polytechnics

珠江三角洲几所高职院校二年制和三年制毕业生的就业意向随机抽样调查显示,学生对就业前景、就业地域、就业单位、薪酬等方面的期待值趋于现实,但就业心理准备状况仍不容乐观。根据需要调整专业设置,有针对性地开展就业指导和创业教育,借助社会、学校、家庭的力量,从而为学生顺利就业提供更多帮助。

An investigation of employment Intentions of a random sample of two-year or three-year graduates from several polytechnics in Pearl River Delta shows that graduates＂ anticipation of employment outlook, area, work unit, payment and so on is basically going realistic, though the employment mental preparation status is not well. We suggest a readjustment of specialties offered according to the need of the society, an instruction of vocational guidance and innovative undertaking with a clear objective and more support by society, school and family to help graduates getting employment.
