Retranslation of Literary Works from the Perspective of Reception Theory

文章从接受理论的两位主要创始人伊瑟尔和姚斯的意义未定性理论和期待视野理论入手,探讨了翻译领域出现的复译现象,认为复译现象有存在的必然性和必要性,同时指出,复译对于翻译实践和翻译理论研究都有着积极的意义。

Based on the two key concepts in reception theory ,one is meaning indeterminacy and the other is expectation horizon, the present paper has probed into the inevitability and necessity of retranslation, and at the same time pointed that retranslation contributes both to translation practice and to translation theory study as well.
