女性语言中模糊限制语的人际功能初探

The Interpersonal Functions of Hedges in Femaile Language

模糊限制语是人类语言中一种常见的语言现象,研究表明,模糊限制语广泛地应用于女性语言中,并已成为女性语言的一个重要特征。文章试从人际功能的角度分析女性青睐模糊限制语的原因,指出在女性语言中模糊限制语可以使语言表达缓和舒适、稳妥周全、礼貌得体,具有自我保护、自我展示和人际协调三方面的功能。

Hedges is a very common phenomenon in human languages. Studies show that hedges are widely applied in female language and have become one of the important characteristics of female language. From the perspective of interpersonal function,this paper attempts to analyze the reason why women favor the use of hedges and points out that in female language, hedges, with the functions of self-protect, self-demonstration and interpersonal coordination, can make language expression mild, safe, considerate,polite and appropriate.
