摘要
认知语言学认为隐喻更是一种认知思维模式,由于语言和文化的紧密联系,作为文化的表现体和文化的承载体,隐喻对外语教学中的文化教学具有着重要意义,因而通过隐喻进行文化教学,是目前外语教育中文化教学的一个有效途径,可弥补当前文化教学的不足。
Metaphor is more than a rhetoric device, it is a cognitive thinking model. Cultural is very closely related to language. Metaphor -a reflection and carrier of culture plays a crucial role in culture teaching. So culture teaching through metaphors is a feasible way in English teaching. Thus it can make up for the weaknesses of the present culture teaching.
