摘要
英语的正确形式并不代表合适得体的英语,语用能力的欠缺必将导致语用失误,语用失误是跨文化交际失败的一个重要原因。文章分析了跨文化交际中语用失误的原因及其后果,并探讨了如何培养学生的语用能力,避免语用失误。
Grammatical English sentences do not always stand for appropiate English. Students＇ deficiency in pragmatic competence is bound to lead to pragmatic failure. Pragmatic failure is one of the key reasons in causing intercultural communication failure. This paper analyzes the reasons and consequence of pragmatic failure in intercultural communication, probes how to develop the students＇ pragmatic competence to avoid pragmatic failure.
