Questioning to the Feasibility of Offering English Courses in all the Primary Schools

在我国，小学开设英语课程问题是近年来外语专家学者关注的焦点之一。然而，小学普遍开设英语课程的理论依据、师资以及教学条件并不充足，作者通过对其可行性的质疑，提出四条建议，这些建议对解决小学英语教学中存在的关键问题具有现实意义。

The problem of offering English courses in all the primary schools has been one of the focuses of linguists and scholars in recent years. However, the theoretical foundation and the objective conditions, such as the quantity and quality of the teachers, the teaching facilities, can not satisfy the need of offering English courses to all the primary school students. By making a query to its feasibility, the author puts forward four suggestions, which are of great practical significance in solving the key problems in primary school English teaching.
