摘要
针对高斯色噪声中零均值、具有非零三谱信号,提出了一种基于四阶(互)累积量的自适应时延估计方法,并分析了算法的收敛性。该方法不仅具有抑制空间相关(或不相关)高斯色噪声的能力,而且可估计正弦信号的时延,理论和仿真实验均证明了该方法在空间相关高斯色噪声背景下,具有优越于互相关方法的时延估计性能。
Aim. In my opinion, the algorithm proposed by Ref. 7 authored by H. (3. So et al is, when the noise is colored Gaussian noise, deficient in accuracy for estimating time delay. I now present an algorithm that I believe is better. In the full paper, I explain my new algorithm in detail. In this abstract, I just add some pertinent remarks to listing the two topics of explanation. The first topic is: the adaptive time delay estimation algorithm for colored Gaussian noise using fourth-order cumulants. In the first topic, I explain how my new algorithm can not only suppress colored Gaussian noise with or without correlation in space but also estimate the time delay of each sinusoidal signal. The second topic is: the analysis of the convergence of the algorithm. In the second topic, I reach the conclusion that it is feasible to estimate the time delay of each sinusoidal signal in colored Gaussian noise using fourth-order cumulants so long as the adaptive step-size of the algorithm meets the requirement of convergence as stipulated in my convergence proof in the full paper. Finally I did comparative simulations to verify the performance of my algorithm. The simulation results, shown in two figures in the full paper, indicate preliminarily that my new algorithm is better than the cross correlated algorithm for time delay estimation in space-correlated colored Gaussian noise.
