Based on Daubechies＇ wavelet basis, the typical problem that arises when using finite element method to solve PDEs, is how to calculate the connection coefficients - an integral of products of scaling functions of Daubechies＂ wavelet, wavelet functions or derivative operators associated with these. The definition of connection coefficients is proposed, and the algorithms for computing them are presented.
