To construct a new socialistic countryside is to narrow the gap and promote unitary development between/in urban and rural areas, complete the inner social structure and sort out various kinds of relations. The key is to improve farmers＇ cultural qualifications, especially those of rural females. As a major force in agricultural production, they have been playing an important role not only in production but also in taking household chores and educating children. Therefore, only with the all-around development of country women can the common development of both the male and the female be achieved and can the drive of building a harmonious socialist countryside go on smoothly.
