夏衍曾说:“中国话剧有三位杰出的开山祖,这就是欧阳予倩、洪深和田汉。”本文将从欧阳予倩步入戏剧殿堂的第一步开始说起:他是如何参与到中国新剧的创始中来的。通过欧阳予倩的这一步,我们可以看到当时新剧创始期的一些重要特点。在过去,由于社会历史环境的缘故,我们对欧阳予倩有不少误读和误解。今天,我们需要对欧阳予倩重新解读和探讨,从“人情事理”和特定的历史情境出发来反观欧阳予倩。
This article attempts to offer a new examination of the role Ouyang Yuqian played in the history of Chinese modem speech drama by examining the first step he took which was to lead to his long career in the birth and development of the new drama in China.
