摘要
在目前Internet上即时通信软件对多用户之间的交互式音视频通信支持不足的背景下,提出使用JMF以支持多用户音视频通信软件的开发。首先介绍了JMF的基本框架及其RTP支持,然后重点描述了一种基于JMF的多用户音视频通信系统的设计方案,并在给出其原型系统具体实现的基础上分析了该系统在性能上的优势所在。最后展望了下一步的研究工作。
Faced with the poor support for interactive audio-visual communication between multiple users provided by most instant-messaging softwares that are currently in use on the Internet, the employment of the Java Media Framework (JMF) in the development of multi-user audio-visual communication softwares is proposed. A general description of the fundamental architecture of JMF and its RTP support are given. In an elaborate manner, a JMF-based design of the multi-user audio-visual communication system is set forth and described. A prototype of the system in question is implemented and the advantages it enjoys in performance are analyzed. The prospect of future research work is given.
