A monolithic signal conditioning subsystem for linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) is presented, which is used in conjunction with LVDTs to convert transducer mechanical position into a unipolar or bi- polar DC voltage with high accuracy and repeatability. The circuit contains a low distortion sine wave oscillator, which drives the LVDT's primary coil. The circuit is designed to operate with a minimum of external components.
