通过对某大型超市在一段时间内出口和入口人流量的调查，得出了超市内的人员流动特点是在一段时间内保持动态平衡，其稳定值随时间变化。通过对超市内各功能分区人员密度的调查，得出了在平时情况下超市内人员密度约0．22人／m^2，推荐取0．28～0．38人／m^2。
