Based on the experience of internal audit of quality management system, the paper discussed on the basic concept and main principles of internal audit of quality management system, and introduced the procedure on how to carry out the internal audit of quality management system in petroleum and chemical enterprises. By carrying out internal audit of quality management system, quality management system was improved and perfeded, and level of quality management was enhanced in enterprises.
